Education in Wyoming County

Wyoming County is blessed with a high quality public education system. We have six high school districts, and twenty-four leading colleges and universities in close proximity. This includes several institutions of the State University of New York (the nation's largest public university system), the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and SUNY Geneseo.

The local Campus Centers of SUNY Genesee Community College are located in Warsaw and Arcade, which can help provide training for your specific production needs.

Healthcare

The Wyoming County Community Health System, located in Warsaw, is the only comprehensive health care provider in the county.  We are the largest employer in the county with a workforce of over 500 dedicated and skilled employees. WCCHS is a publicly owned facility of the County of Wyoming and offers acute care, long term care, ambulatory surgery, rehabilitation, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, and much more. Through the Wyoming County Community Health System, the community has access to both local and regional healthcare providers. The facility has recently completed the largest capital investment in Wyoming County’s history, which modernized the facility’s buildings, parking, access, equipment, and technology.
