(WARSAW, NY) — The Wyoming County Business Center has completed another session of its Business Accelerator Academy, an initiative designed to equip local entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies, and support needed to grow and strengthen their businesses.
The latest session brought together local business owners ready to take a closer look at their operations, identify opportunities, and plan for the future. Through interactive sessions led by facilitators Mike Fitch and Jeff Fitch, participants worked to refine their business models, explore growth opportunities, and develop practical, results-driven action plans.
“Each of the businesses participating in this session brought a unique perspective, goals, and vision for the future,” said Jennifer Tyczka, Program Manager. “The business owners stepped back from their day-to-day operations, explored new ideas, and turned them into actionable plans. Their commitment to learning, adapting, and growing reflects the strong entrepreneurial spirit throughout Wyoming County.”

Three Danes Farmstand — Arcade, NY

The Salty Dog Camp is an adventure-led retreat for dogs offering boarding, training, and dog care services. In addition to the Academy's core curriculum, participants benefited from presentations and insights provided by area industry professionals, including:
- Brianna Stone, Vice President and Branch Manager of Tompkins Bank & Trust, who discussed securing business loans and protecting businesses against fraud.
- Kim Brown-Webster, Director of Human Resources and SHRM-CP of Complete Payroll, who provided guidance on workplace culture, leadership, and team building.
- Tom Lyon, Owner of Lyon Global, who shared strategies for digital marketing and understanding customer buying behaviors.
These sessions provided participants with practical perspectives and expertise they can apply as they continue to develop their businesses and pursue new opportunities.

The next session of the Wyoming County Business Accelerator Academy begins April 7, 2027. Classes will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ag & Business Center in Warsaw. Seating is limited.
