(WARSAW, NY) – May 29, 2025 - The Wyoming County Business Center proudly celebrates the graduation of ten driven entrepreneurs and their business partners from the Wyoming County Business Fast Track Program—a testament to the county's ongoing commitment to cultivating innovation, strengthening local economies, and supporting small business development.

These graduates are bringing a diverse and dynamic array of business concepts to life, each designed to enhance community life and drive sustainable economic growth in Wyoming County:

  • Act 4 Books – A community-supported bookstore offering books, games, puzzles, and unique gifts, complemented by a cozy café space.
  • JMK Renovations – Specializing in custom home remodeling projects, delivering personalized craftsmanship and modern design solutions.
  • Best Home Improvements – No task is too minor and no project is too overwhelming- taking the stress out of the home upkeep with efficient, affordable, professional services.
  • JH Designs – High-quality laser engraving, custom gifts & services for corporate clients and individual customers.
  • H2O Pro Exterior Cleaning – Professional soft washing, pressure washing, and exterior surface cleaning.
  • ABC In Home – Local private elder care services offering compassionate, in-home assistance to support aging in place.
  • High Road Bookkeeping – Bookkeeping services using QuickBooks, offering small businesses streamlined, accurate financial reports.
  • Emberstone Consulting – A consulting company that sparks business growth by aligning teams, workflows, and technology for lasting efficiency and success.
  • Wiscoy Woodworking – Artisanal custom woodworking and furniture making, blending timeless techniques with modern aesthetics.
  • Koerner’s Country Corners Farmstand – A fresh market venture promoting locally-sourced produce and products, connecting consumers to Wyoming County’s agricultural roots.

“These entrepreneurs have not only refined their business concepts but have built lasting relationships that form the foundation of a vibrant local business network,” said Jennifer Tyczka, Program Manager. “The collaborative energy throughout the program was inspiring—exactly what we aim to foster in our growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

Participants completed a comprehensive 10-week course covering core business fundamentals including feasibility analysis, market research, financial forecasting, and sales strategy. Led by business leaders Jeff Fitch and Mike Fitch and enhanced by local guest speakers, the sessions provided a hands-on, interactive learning experience that encouraged peer collaboration and real-world application.

Affiliated with the Kauffman Foundation’s FastTrac program, the Wyoming County Business Center customizes its curriculum to meet the unique needs of local entrepreneurs. Through access to low-interest financing, ongoing technical support, and a mentorship network, graduates emerge prepared to build viable and resilient businesses.

Jim Pierce, President of the Wyoming County Business Center, emphasized the program's role in economic development: "The success of our graduates demonstrates the importance of comprehensive business planning and targeted training. Many Fast Track alumni have secured financing and established flourishing businesses, significantly contributing to job growth in Wyoming County."

Upcoming Program Details:

The next cycle of the Wyoming County Business Fast Track Program will begin August 26, 2025, held at the Ag & Business Center in Warsaw. Classes run every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for ten weeks.

Aspiring entrepreneurs are encouraged to register early and join a community committed to helping each other succeed.

The Fast Track Program is made possible through the support of the Wyoming County Business Center Board of Directors, the Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, and generous sponsors, including Tompkins Community Bank, Complete Payroll, Robert D.
