Built on the renowned Kauffman Foundation platform, the Wyoming County Business Fast Track Program offers a hands-on immersive experience designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to launch and grow a successful business. This program is not just about learning; it's about taking action and achieving results. Participants will receive expert guidance and support to refine their business concepts, develop actionable business plans, and gain access to essential resources.

Jim Pierce, President of the Wyoming County Business Center, Inc., highlighted the program's impact: "Our partnership with the Kauffman Foundation has been instrumental in empowering local entrepreneurs. The Fast Track Program equips participants with the tools and knowledge needed to build sustainable businesses and contribute to our community's economic growth. This program has proven results, and we look forward to its continued success."

Led by experienced local entrepreneurs, the program spans 10 weeks of interactive sessions, starting on August 27, 2024. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Wyoming County Agriculture and Business Center in Warsaw. Participants can expect engaging discussions, practical exercises, and insights from industry experts aimed at accelerating their business development journey.

Jennifer Tyczka, Program Manager, emphasized the program's hands-on approach: "The Fast Track Program guides entrepreneurs through each step of the business planning process. Our program is designed to be dynamic and interactive, fostering a collaborative learning environment where entrepreneurs can refine their ideas and build strong foundations for their businesses."

Upon completion of the program, graduates can receive ongoing support including assistance with financing options, networking opportunities, identifying business locations, and access to local business resources crucial for long-term success.

The Wyoming County Business Fast Track Program is generously supported by Tompkins Community Bank, Complete Payroll, Robert D. Strassel Esq., Community Bank N.A., Five Star Bank, Wyoming County Board of Supervisors, and the workforce development resources available to participants through Community Action for Wyoming County.
